Will attending showcases help me get a baseball scholarship?

Showcases are a good tool as part of an overall baseball recruiting strategy, but coaches want to see skill video because it’s hard to know exactly what will happen on the day of the event. Showcase performances provide college coaches the ability to cross-check player information or find a verified measurement like a 60 time or a height and weight. Don’t expect to get recruited solely by attending showcases. Ensuring that you get viewership-enabled skill video to college coaches should be your first recruiting priority. This allows them to evaluate important factors like a repeatable swing, bat speed, a repeatable throwing motion, ability to throw multiple pitches for strikes, range, speed, etc.
