College Football Talent Does Not Fit Into A Neat Hierarchy

Once players get outside of High D2 football, there can be a lot of overlap between the talent levels. At a D3 powerhouse program like Mount Union, you’ll see some athletes that could easily play at a higher level. Some FCS programs are non-scholarship whereas you’ll see high D2 programs with more athletic scholarship funding to give out so they’ll have better talent. Keep this in mind once you decide to focus outside of the FBS Power 5 schools.
